My mission is to empower people to invest in their relationship with themselves. I believe the healthier you are and better you know yourself, the easier it is to figure out how you should be spending the time in your life in a way that brings you happiness. When we are happier, we are more willing to help others and have a positive impact on those around us. One person's fulfillment and happiness can go a long way.
A couple years ago, I realized I was not feeling the same amount of career fulfillment as I previously had. It felt like so many hours a week went to work, leaving little time left to do the things that truly make me happy.
It was time to do a check-in with myself. Am I where I want to be? Are there other careers I dream about? What would I choose to spend my hours working on instead?
I found myself spending a lot of time thinking about and researching topics like health and wellness, personal development, happiness and behavior change. I was in love with these subjects and with sharing the helpful ideas I learned with those around me. I finally got the courage to ask myself, “How would I design my life if I didn’t let fear hold me back? What if I allowed myself to think bigger? What if I gave myself permission to do more?”
After months of thought, I decided to turn my passion for overall self-health, growth and happiness into a career where it’s my job to learn about these subjects and help people improve their lives.
I left the security and familiarity of my corporate job for a career that feels right to who I am and how I want to spend my life. I invested in an invaluable training program, learning how to help those that feel frustrated, defeated and stuck, create healthy habits to transform their bodies and their lives.
I am very grateful to be a Health Coach that gets to work with incredible people who invest in their wellbeing and teach me along the way. I place immense responsibility on myself be a leader to my clients, to provide accountability, motivation and support, and to represent what I believe are healthy habits and decisions.
My story wouldn't be complete it I didn't mention my awesome, supportive family. Family is a big part of my life and happiness. My husband and I are fortunate to live in Santa Cruz, California within miles of most of our family (some of which are pictured above, missing my in-laws!).

I received my Health & Wellness Coaching certification from Health Coach Institute, a world class international coach training company in service of creating leaders in the health coaching industry. This certification is accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), the only globally recognized, independent credentialing program for coach practitioners. Its mission is to build, support and preserve the integrity of the coaching profession. This certification is also proudly recognized by the following worldwide accrediting organizations:
Canada – Canadian Health Coach Alliance.
UK – Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).
Australia/New Zealand – International Institute for Complimentary Therapists (IICT).
Health & Wellness and Self-Development – It’s no surprise why I chose to pursue a Health Coaching career. I am fascinated and inspired by the possibility of continuously expanding your understanding of yourself. I believe that self-development is the greatest gift we can give ourselves and continuing to grow as person is a key to happiness.
Photography – I’ve always dreamed of being creative and 'artsy'. I don’t paint or draw or have a intetesting sense of style. I do, however, love the art of photography, manipulating the cameras functions to make a photo look a certain way and capturing the feeling of a certain moment.
Animals – Oh man, this is a sappy subject for me. My dogs have played such an important role in my life. I feel very strongly about the love and companionship animals can bring to a person. I'm a strong advocate for standing up to animal cruelty. Working from home can be a lonely job and I couldn't be more grateful for my dog keeping me company and sane everyday.
